WHAT TO EXPECT

Here's what to expect when you work with me! I do my best to be transparent and flexible so there are no surprises! I know it's scary to cough up a deposit for something you haven't even seen yet for one of the bigggest occasions of your LIFE! SO here is some peace of mind, so you know EXACTLY what to expect when you order a custom wedding invitation suite!
 

1. FREE CONSULT AND NO "SITTING" FEES!
First steps first! Before we even chat on the phone or meet in person, I will send you a brief questionnaire to fill out  so I can better understand what you are looking for in regards to your wedding stationery and to confirm we are a good fit.

 

After this, we can proceed on the phone, through email or in person. I know you're a busy bride-to-be, so please let me know what works best for you.

During your complimentary consultation, I will review any inspiration you may have, bridesmaid dress  swatches, florals and we will go over how the design process works, your general timeline, budget and modern invitation etiquette. 

 

Together we will create a wedding invitation suite that is unique to you and your partner and that will set the stage  for one of the most memorable days of your life!

2. QUOTES, DEPOSITS, AND CONTRACTS OH MY!


After your consultation is completed, I will send you a customized quote. Each couple receives a quote custom to their needs, so please allow time for me to put together the best vendors for your needs.

 

The quote will outline everything we discussed during your consultation and will include a payment schedule & contract that can be signed digitally as well.


Once the quote is accepted and I receive the 50% non-refundable deposit along with the signed contract, I will send you an email with the custom wording form that will capture all the information that I will need to get started in creating your custom wedding package!

3. PROOFS, REVISIONS, & FINAL APPROVAL


Once I receive all of the information I need, I will begin the design process.

 

Don't worry, you have to trust me!

 

I won't send ANYTHING to print without your consent and you will see digital proofs once I finish designing your entire suite.

 

I ask that you proofread your proofs and provide revisions in ONE email so nothing gets missed.

 

If changes are needed, I will provide you with revised proofs at no additional charge.

 

Two rounds of revisions are included in the quote and there will be an additional charge after that.

Once everything is signed off on, I will send to print for a hard copy proof so you can see it, hold it feel it and make sure it evokes the feelings you are going for.

 

Once you receive your hard copy proof, we will make any needed adjustments and send off for final production.

4. FINAL PRODUCTION & DELIVERY


Once you approve the final design, any outstanding payments are due  BEFORE your final files will be sent to print.
 

Once I get everything back from the printers, I go through each piece to be sure it looks amazing.

 

I assemble anything that needs to be put together, belly bands, monogram tags, invitation mats etc and then I package them up to send out to you!!!

*Please note if you order pocket folder invitations, the belly bands or twine closure will not be fastened as you will need to add your postage to the RSVP envelopes before the pockets are stuffed and closed! The only way this will come done is if you opt for full assembly which is available for an extra charge!
